anyone with a "normal" length LP diagnosed with LPD?

hey ladies,

have any of you been diagnosed with luteal phase defect even though your LP is technically in the "normal" range? if so, what were the circumstances of your diagnosis? any symptoms?

my LP is 12 days but i suspect that something is wrong...

THANKS for any input you can give!!

My LP is also around 12 days although there were cases of it coming in @ 10-11 days as well.
The Dr has put me on Metformin and I also start injectables next cycle. ( I also have other issues)

The good news about LPD is it is correctable via medicationChat Icon

My average LP is 12 days but it can also be as short as ten days. The only thing I've been diagnosed with at this point is a luteal phase defect.

I'm on my third month of Clomid. I've also been seeing an acupuncturist and using herbal/vitamin therapies for two months. Last cycle my LP was 14 days!!

ETA - my temps in the LP are normally very erratic - a sawtooth pattern. Not sure if that's a sign of LPD but they've normalized the past two months.

From what I've been told these are all signs of a LPD. I do have a normal length LP 12-14 days but my progesterone is extremely low whenever its tested, my temps are always low after O around 97.5 or so(pre o are around 97.1) Also I have had recurrent miscarriage. I just ordered Vitex which is supposed to help with LPD. I also am going to accupuncture. My Dr would like to put me on Clomid we'll see.

The other thing that was suggested to me (by the acupuncturist) is progesterone cream.
