I wish!! You have to call them at 407-WDW-DINE. It goes faster if you have your list of places, dates & times ready.

If you have certain restaurants you want to go to def call ahead of time and make the reservations. For a really nice, formal dinner I love Vicotria and Alberts. It is $$ but we went there the last night of our HM and it was great. Very attentive staff, awesome food and you get personalized menus :)

Re: Disney Restaurants

We are going to try Victoria & Alberts. I also would like to make a res at the California Grill-- but in time for fireworks-- which I have no idea when they start.

Trying to find a place for the last night-- do they give you reccos based on what you are looking for? ETA-- when you call WDW DINE?

If you go on the Disney webiste and check the calendar for the magic kingdom it should have the fireworks times.

Mid-May is nice. It's really warm, most schools are still in session so it's not crowded and the Epcot Flower Show is going on.

Re: Disney Restaurants

We just went to Disney in October and I could hardly get a dinner reservation anywhere. They say you can make reservations something like 120 or 180 days in advance, and you really need to be on the phone with them at that time to the day. They told me that because of the dining plan now that all the restaurants fill up immediately.

As for recommendations, we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the restaurants there were amazing. One is called Boma and I forgot what the other one is called but they can help you on the phone. Boma is a buffet and the other one is not.

One more thing, the beginning of October was not crowded at all.

thanks-- here is where we are going:

California Grill
Victoria & Albert's
Artist Point at Wlderness Lodge

we are going to wing it our first and last nights there...

I would recco making a res as soon as you can-- we got 9 o clock reses-- which is fine for us, while on vacay-- but I would have preferred an 8 30 if possible.

It's harder to get in there than some of the hottest restaurants in NYC!
