Anyone Coach any sports in there school district??
I was wondering how you when about and got cerified to coach?

I coach Varsity softball and used to do basketball as well. You have to take three classes - I took them through Nassau BOCES, and certify for CPR/AED and First Aid. You have to recertify for CPR every year, and First Aid every three years.

i coached the Step Team in Florida and I didn't need anything. I was wondering how to become a coach here as well.

This has all the requirements for coaching and all the different places that offer courses... there is a link up top that says coaching... there are a few online ones, and i know MESTRACT is putting togeter a coaching cohort soon...
