Has anyone heard of any Newfoundland breeders around here?
DH really wanted a Newfoundland and we saw one at North Shore, but I made him wait a day to think about it and then go back and get it. Well we went back and it was GONE. OOPS! Now I feel terrible and have been trying to find a breeder everywhere but the closest one I found is Rochester.
Any ideas?

Try going on www.akc.org under breeder referral. There is usually a breeder contact and if you contact them by phone or email and give them your location, they can do a more up-to-date search for breeders in your area.

THank you so much!!! I called the number and the woman was super friendly. SHe gave me 2 phone numbers to call and is sending me a breed referral book! Im so happy! :)

Hi there! I know there are several Newfie rescues in the area. Try searching on petfinder.
If oyu do go through a breeder, please make sure they are responsible & have the dog's best interest at heart. If you want a list of info you should get/ask from a breeder, FM me &I'll be happy to share
