So...it's still not much but...
DH's latest SA resulted in an increase. Here is the 1st SA done on September 14th:
Count 1.4 million Motility 55% Morphology 2%
2nd SA done on 12/15:
Count 8.4 million Motility 70%...at least they can swim Morphology: 5%
DH started taking vitamins mid-October...Pycogenol, Vitamin C, CoQ10 and a whole bunch of others...looks like a GNC store in my house The urologist said the counts are still not enough for a good chance at a BFP but they did improve. DH is going to get surgery to repair the bi-lateral varicoele but we are still going to go ahead with IVF/ICSI since the UR said results take from 6months to a year. Oh well...I guess up is better than down.

Hey, an improvement is an improvement! It will definitely give you better chances for IVF/ICSI!

Re: So...it's still not much but...
The count is great and with ICSI there is a greater chance of fertility with IVF!
Good Luck!!!!

Re: So...it's still not much but...
That is an amazing improvement. My dh had varicocele surgery in May 06. Prior to the surgery, his count was 8.8 million/mL. When we did IUI in july and august, the sample count was still poor. He tested again by orders of his UR in early October and his count went to 36.4 million/mL!! Even the UR was amazed at the whopping increase. The do say it takes 3 to 6 months for the sperm to cycle. In our case it took about 4 months...and it seemed to change overnight. Unfortunately we had started an IVF cycle before knowing about the last results. I wish we hadn't jumped to IVF so soon (especially since it failed...hindsight, i know) We probably would have done a few more IUI's with these counts...and maybe saved a ton of moola.
Good Luck! The best is yet to come...
