Shadow Boxes ??

I would like to make Shadow Boxes
of Course first to my DD and DS
I would like to put there first picture in the hospital of my DH and I holding them for the first time ? Or should I do the Christening theme with the invitation the favor and etc. ??
Any suggestions ???

Also I would like to make a shadow box type for my DH side of the bed so he can put his change, wallet, keys on it ??
Do I put our vacation stuff ? Or Kids stuff ? Have you seen something like this ???

I would probably do the Communion pictures & memorablia in the shadow boxes.

I would frame and mat the enlargements of the first time you & DH are holding the kids - they are special photos and could stand alone.


I don't understand what you mean for DH's stuff -- lots of stores have valets that are made for things like that. But if you want something with pictures - you could get a small tray with handles and adhere the pictures to the bottom and cover it with mod podge or someother decaupage type glue (for lack of a better word) to protect them.

I did a shadow box for DS's birth announcement (both the one I sent out and the one that ran in the paper), his little hat that he wore in the hospital, our hospital bracelets, and the sheet from his bassinet (the one that says, "It's a Boy!" with all his info and footprints).
