Anyone grading Regents this week?
I am...yay 
I love midterm/Regents week--I've been home for an hour, and it's only 11:45!
However, we (English) also give our Regents in January so I'm preparing to upgrade my eyeglass prescription by the end of the week!

I l ove teaching high school! This is one of the bonuses we have! Yeah Regents!
We used to give the ELA to all 11th graders in January. This year my crack head principal only wants to give it to select juniors.
Less grading for us!

I am!! My school makes the kids take it in January too....less in June!!!! I work for a large city high school and students have off from Tuesday to the following Wednesday. Is that insane or what????

I hate grading Regents!!! I'd rather teach! Proctoring is sooo boring and there is nothing worse than grading the essays and having the classroom teacher of that class that you are grading standing over your shoulder, criticizing the grade you gave their student! It is so annoying.
