New York-based small publishing company looking for licensed public school teachers with an interest in providing proofreading and reviewing services for children’s educational comic books. This is a freelance assignment. You are paid $1000 for each series of 20 lessons that you complete satisfactorily (Math Grade 4 is currently available). Each lesson is 9 pages long (8 pages of comics and one page of highlights) and contains approximately 1700 words.

Questions/Comments to include in your e-review for each lesson:
1. Is the lesson according to NYS Standards? Why? Why not?
2. Is it appropriate for the grade level? Why? Why not?
3. Do you like the lesson and would you recommend it to your school, parents and students to use as supplemental educational material? Why? Why not?
4. How would you improve upon the lesson?

The reviewer must submit a revised version of the text with comments explaining what was changed and why they did. Also brief comments on the above questions for each lesson needs to be sent to the editor at [email protected]

When you have read a series of 20 lessons in one subject matter, a one-page review and recommendation must be submitted. Samples of review will be furnished by editor.
Payment is on a monthly basis. All work/communication is on-line via e-mail.
