Preemie twins and cereal?
My 6mo nephews (whom I watch three days a week) are not taking to cereal. Any ideas??? Reasons??? Neither in the bottle or with the spoon. Are they too young? They were 7 weeks early.

My boys were 6 weeks early, but I haven't had any issues with cereal. We did have it in the bottles for about a month b/c of reflux. Try just making it very runny and use the spoon. My PED said to not get frustrated - just give them what they'll take and eventually they'll get used to and will eat more. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!

Hi! My boys were also 7 weeks early and it took them FOREVER to get used to the spoon. It took us a couple of months until they really got used to eating this way. My advice is to have lots of patience! Good luck!
