Feeling down

I just joined a gym this past month and am determined to lose weight for my July wedding. I've been going to the gym four times a week and have been working with a trainer twice a week. I've been watching what I eat, and see absolutely no difference after working my butt off for a month!! What am I doing wrong?? Chat Icon

to know what you are doing wrong, we have to know what it is exactly you are doing at the gym, and what exactly are you eating.

what did you eat yesterday?
What do your workouts look like?

Re: Feeling down

The exact same thing happened to me. I switched trainers and he started doing interval training and I was really sweating. It made a slight difference but overall, I wish I hadn't spent the money on the trainer. Have you tried walking outside or on the treadmill? Also, the stairmill was great for me.

Re: Feeling down

I do at least thirty minutes of cardio every time I'm at the gym. Then I work with the trainer for about 45 minutes - I am lifting weights to tone both my legs and arms - He has me doing a TON of exercises using machines, free weights, etc.

As for my eating, I guess I haven't been "strict" enough about that. I am doing WW but did not officially join (I've done it a few times before) Maybe that's why I'm not seeing results??

YOUR DIET WILL DETERMINE YOUR RESULTS.
try to be strict, but give yourself one cheat meal per week.
remember to take in enough protein per day- 1 gram per pound of body weight.

Thanks for your reply.

Do you think I should stick to WW or try something different??
