Me rest Oh Stacey, you don't know me that well Actually, I have been getting a lot better lately.
My friend and SIL are driving down from MA and my other SIL is flying in for the weekend. We are finally finished with the basement so DH has been moving things down there. I finally have all of the paint cans out of the dining room
Oh, and I have 13 years of teaching materials in my spare bedroom. There are enough binders of materials to rival the Library of Congress Anyone need an overhead on the Treaty of Versailles?...LOL.
My district got very, very lucky in finding my leave replacement because there are very few people who teach the courses I do. My chairperson was a bit upset to see me go because she knew if she ever delegated anything to me it was done right the first time. Well, right now she is about ready to strangle two members of my dept. The entire staff is very happy for me and DH and threw us a wonderful work shower last Friday. Oh, and my asst. supt. gave me the best terms (pay and benefits wise) I could ever hope for...WOOO-HOOOO!!! It's all good.
OK, the last of the vacuuming is calling me. Then it's off to get hair and nails done
Stay warm and Barb, make sure you have a big appetite for tomorrow
OK, this is the first time since 1984, I "technically" do not have a job... feels a bit weird but I am definitely looking forward to my next "career" in the weeks to come
