Sandals Grande St. Lucian
If you have stayed there what kind of room did you have? We are going in a week and a half and booked the Premium but they offered us to upgrade to a Penthouse Honeymoon Beachfront Concierge Room for 300 dollars. I am thinking it is defintely worth it but just wanted to hear some opinons on the rooms if you have been there. TIA!

Defenitely upgrade it is worth it. We had a pool front room at first, and the room had a mlidew smell from the carpet. We upgraded to a ocean front concierge room and it had tile floor and a Bar.
We loved the Grande - Sandals is the best all inclusive.

We had a Pool Room - we loved it!
If they offered an upgrade we would have taken it though!!

I have been there twice and one time I stayed in the base room, the other time I think I was upgraded a few levels. I didn't see much difference, I would not have paid extra. BTW you are going to love it there, the place is AMAZING!

The difference iss mostly that the cheaper rooms have carpet and the musty smell and the upgraded rooms have tiled floors and no musty smell.
We didnt want to have to smell the mustyness the whole time we were there so we upgraded.

For 300 dollars total for 4 nights to upgrade to a Penthouse with a beachfront view it's worth it I think. Also I like the idea and convenience of having room service, concierge service and a bar in my room. This vacation in to celebrate our 10th anniversay so we have to decided to go for it. Thanks though for all of your help!
