Anyone here a teacher and married to one?
DH and I are both teachers... it's the best! I love having all the same vacations (and snow days!!!)

Kind of- my DH is a college professor, so we get lots of time in the summer (after we finish summer school, that is!  ) and the time at Christmas.
Otherwise, none of our other breaks match up- I am off in Feb and April and his spring break is in March. In some ways, it's good because I am more productive doing things around the house when I am off and he isn't, but it stinks that we can't travel then.

we are both teachers... it's nice, but we have very different teaching styles, and very different districts so i get frustrated when i tell him about something that happened at work and he thinks he knows better then me and tries to tell me how i should have handled a situation, when i know i handled it correctly...

We work for the same district but he is HS and I'm elem. We LOVE IT, especially even more now that we have kids. We LOVE vacation and snow days. On the first day of vacation we always cuddle in our bed together and try to stay in our PJs for the whole day. We call it our PJ parade day!

We are! But one of us is always working summer school or interning, so we really haven't yet enjoyed summers off together. I do love the snowdays though!
It is nice to have someone who understands the struggles and challenges you face. I think through our shared experiences we have made each other better teachers.

Sort of...I teach high school and he's an adjunct professor on the side.
ETA...we were just talking today and he said we'd kill one another if we were both FT teachers and had the same holidays...he's probably right!

Dh and i are both teachers. We met at my school 
He no longer works there and now teaches HS. Its AWESOME being off together and we get to travel alot bc of it.
Not to mention having summers off together
