Vegas for non-gamblers?
DH and I want to take a trip in February without DS and were thinking about Vegas. Neither of us are really into casinos or gambling. Do you think we would still have a good time? It seems like there's lots of stuff to do. Also does anyone know if it's warm enough in February to lay out by the pool?

We aren't big gamblers and always have a good time in Vegas. There are all kinds of excursions/shows/activities/shopping that you can do. One time DH went ATV riding in the desert and he still raves about how fun it was.

Not sjre what the weather is like then but you will definately have a good time even if you don;t gamble. I went and hardly gambled. There are tons of shows, shopping, and walking around all the hotels is enough to keep you busy. You can also take a trip to the GRand Canyon. Definately worth it if you are there!

Thanks! It sounds promising! I hadn't even thought about the Grand Canyon. I'll have to look into it!

Im not sure how the weather is but there is still a lot to do if you dont gamble. I harldy did when I was there. You can walk the whole strip, check out all the hotels, see some shows, eat in some great places. You can also do a day tour of the Grand Canyon which is so worth it.

Re: Vegas for non-gamblers?
I despise gambling but DH and I had an awesome time when we went to Vegas in 2005. We had so much fun we are thinking about going again this summer.
The strip is huge and there are a million and one things to do! You'll never be bored!

Re: Vegas for non-gamblers?
We went to Vegas and we really don't gamble. I do like the slot machines, but I know when enough is enough. We did lots of stuff, saw all the attractions in the hotels (the lions, the white tigers, the sharks etc) We walked up and down the strip and played like $5 on the slots at every hotel, we tried to win enough money for our breakfast/lunch everyday. And we took a Maverick helicoptor into the Grand Canyon and drank champagne there! That was a totally once in a lifetime trip! It was really expensive (but with us, the exchange rate is fantastic, so its all half price!!!) We stayed in the Bellagio and hung out by the pool, we shopped, ate at buffets...just enjoyed ourselves!!
You don't have to love gambling to do Vegas!
