I just don't understand...
women in Manhattan walking around bundled up w/coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and yet wear skirts w/out stockings? And it's 29 degrees outside.

I feel the same way, but then again I think it looks weird when people wear no stockings and open toed shoes to weddings when it is cold outside...

I had this debate w/my friend last night. We're going out on Saturday and I mentioned how I wish it was summer b/c I'm dying to wear these sandals I bought. She said it's totally acceptable to wear them w/jeans since we'll be inside. I said - nope...I'm against wearing "summer" shoes/open-toe shoes when there's snow. Same goes for those that wear uggs in 90degree weather.....

I HATE stockings.. I do everyhting in my power to NOT wear them. If I wear a skirt and high boots, I do NOT wear stockings or tights.
I went to a shower about 3 weeks ago and wore a skirt, no stockings and peep toe shoes. It wasn't cold outside and my legs were still tan from Mexico. 
I won't wear sandals in the winter, but I will wear peep toe. If there's no snow on the ground I see no problem with it.

I don't wear stockings either, I go bare legged quite often in the winter..I will wear dark tights with some things but never stockings....I don't mind if my legs get cold, I'll usually just wear a long coat and once I'm inside its nice and warm anyways

i hate stockings
i'd rather have cold legs for 5 minutes than wear ugly, uncomfortable stockings for 10 hours!
