Where do you shop for baby clothes?
I shop at the following (but need more ideas)

Janie & Jack
Stores
Carters

Gap Baby
BTW - just got this dress for $8.99 at Janie and Jack!

I received some outfits from there as gifts but I've never seen the store?
I've gone to Old Navy, Kohls and Marshalls. I got a lot of clothes as gifts so I haven't bought much.

There is one near me at Short Hills Mall in NJ.

However, I haven't bought anything for this baby. Partially it's "superstition," but really, if your family and friends are anything like mine (and I would imagine most are?) you will be SWAMPED with clothing...forget it, especially for a girl. I didn't even know the sex at my shower, so I didn't get a lot of clothes then, but after she was born...OMG!! I have tons of clothes that have only been worn 1x for the sake of it and others with tags.
So, just a little friendly warning not to go overboard yourself!

I know there is a Janie and Jack in Roosevelt Field. They are have adorable things there, I buy stuff for my nephews there whenever I can.

I actually haven't bought any clothes for the baby yet because I want to see what I get for my shower first. I can't believe I have had the restraint but I have!

I've gotten most of his clothes so far from Babies r Us, Gymboree, and Nordstrom's. I have no idea if I'm having a shower but I promised DH I'd wait a while before buying more.

I completely agree with everyone - I imagine that there will be a lot at the baby shower but I am too much of a planner. I am trying to take advantage of sales only right now - and I have to love the item.
There are so many great suggestions on this thread though - stores I can't believe I have't thought of.

There are so many great suggestions on this thread though - stores I can't believe I have't thought of.
One piece of advice that I heard from several mommies is to buy clothes in 3 different size ranges, with the fewest being in Newborn or size 0, some in 0-3 mos and most in 3-6 mos. They all told me you will not know how fast the baby will grow so it's better to have some clothes that are a little bit bigger versus too small. HTH!

I went to hottopic, disney store, toys'r'us, several local baby stores and I got several outfits from like 2nd hand stores because they don't stay in the outfits for very long and the outfits weren't used.
