Aruba- Marriot timeshare
Has anyone every stayed at the timeshare part of the Marriot in Aruba???
We are planning a trip in May. MY FIL gave us a week there and was just wondering if anyone had some info...
we are very excited to go since we haven't been on a vacation by ourselves since our Honeymoon- 4 years ago

My co-worker and friend just went there for her HM in Oct...she couldnt stop saying nice things about it....esp the strong drinks!
Her only complaint was that it rained 3 days while she was there but thats MEGA unusal

Thank ladies!!!!
We are actually staying in the new tower that is being built but I am sure if the other tower was great this will be too...
i am now getting more excited!!!!
Is there anything I need to bring or do.. never stayed in a timeshare before...

Have fun!!! My sister moved there in December from NYC.
Her and her boyfriend own a Harley/ATV/Jeep tour company there
It is sooo beautiful there

We did not stay there, we stayed at the Radisson, however the Marriot was gorgeous! We actually talked about staying there next time.

My friend bought a time share there a few years ago. She has gone every year since and loves it. I have been to Aruba twice and stayed in the other hotel area, but we walked through the high rise hotels. I liked that the Marriott had a lot to offer - several restaurants and the beach seemed larger than at the other high rise hotels. In that part of the island, you are also close to all the water activities and tour places, if you want to do that stuff.
You will love it!
