Please help!!! Shower favors
I am looking for help!!! I am responsible for shower favors for my sister's baby shower.
Please, please, please send ideas my way!!!!
I have not clue where to even start!

For my SIL's we went with her theme of rubber duckies, and gave out rubber ducky keychains.
For mine, my mom has light blue tea/cofee cups with a tea bag personalized ( with a baby is brewing) , blue baby footprint sugar cubes and a blue cookie inside and a chocolate covered spoon all wrapped up.
I Like personalized M & M's as an idea
Baby cookies....you can find them online

We gave out personalized mugs. They were pretty cheap and I see ppl using them all the time!

as a guest to many showers, weddings and so on, i've always disliked recieving picture frames, figurines, almondines, etx.. or anything with their names and / or dates on it. however special the day is i normally toss em away. call me someone who is not sentimental but there's plenty of ppl like me out there.
i like edible stuff. except for the almondine stuff. am i the only one, but they're hard as hell to eat. anyway, how's about nicely boxed cupcakes? good luck w your search.

We did edible favors at my shower.
I went to a very baby shower at a tea house. They gave out tea plates & tea bags along with a tag about a baby brewing. I thought it was very creative.

for my shower each guest got a small plate of chocolate covered pretzels, some white., dark and milk. Blue and white sprnkles-or pink or just blue----u get the idea.
I got more calls bragging about these then anything else.
The cool thing was my kids helped make them=they were beautiful!

My MIL is doing chocolates for my shower.
I always liked the idea of giving out a jar of Bonne Maman jam/preserves.
It means "good mother" in french and the preserves are delicious - DH and I have like 8 different kinds in our fridge at any given day.
A large jar will cost around $3-4 dollars. A small jar will cost a little less than a dollar. They are rustic looking with red and white checked lids and the label looks like it was hand written (it's not, but it looks that way)

For my sisters shower I got rubber ducks, a bar of soap from bath and body, a small bottle of lotion and a body puff tied them all together and had a tag coming off the side saying from xxx's shower to your's.
I bought the ducks online for like $.50 cents each and the bobdy puffs for like 25 or 30 cents each.

That's a good idea!
I like this idea for my friend's wedding shower she gave us shower gels and a loofah from BAth and Body works with a cute message about how we showered her with gifts and now we can shower ourselves...something to that effect
