BABY BORN OR IN UTERO WITH TGA??

This is for all the woman out there scared not sure what to do? Here is my story when i was three months prgnant i was bleeding thought i was miscarrying ran to hospital stayed for a day was sent home several weeks later i was then sent back to my gynecologist and sent to a special level 2 dr. as then i found out the baby was missing his main arteries they were not positive if the were there or not because i was so early in my preganancy month by month week by weeks i had no idea what was wrong is my baby going to be ok or not?? So now i am into my 7th month aftter sonograms herat dr.s and specialist i was told it was all going to be fine the baby was going to be ok he had ahealthy heart after that i was happy in the clear this baby was going to be the healthiest baby their is . My delivery day i deliver this baby and oh my he is not breathing well swollen and worried they pull him out of the room they call in heart dr.s and trained icu baby drs i then get asked questions i explained to them the baby possibly they thought were missing arteries they then fly him to a hospital in philly i as a mom could not go with him so sad later ont he next day when we arrived at hospital after signing myself out i found out my son had TGA TRANSposition of the great arteries his arteries were not crossed they were straight his arota was two small and now he as a newborn had to have a life threatening surgery 3 weeks went by off sad emotional days but then a light came on at the end of that long tunnel MY BABY WAS OK AFTER SURGERYhewasonmeds for months but he is one now and i am so happy that my little miracle baby is here today If you as a mom is experiencing any of this PLEASE!! Just try to stay calm and i am sure God will watch over your little one too and everything will be ok If you have questions for me i thought this little note may help another mom whom was or is experiencing this scenerio as well . Maybe even if your a mom already with a baby tha you had with tga and your son is 10 now you can share with me your thoughts fears for the future sports, worries of narrowing of the heart since he has a stress test each year for the rest of his life....

I'm sorry you had to go through this - glad your baby is doing better - that sounds very scary!
