how to tell grandparents?

so anyone tell them in a cute special way? i can't think of anything! i only went for my first dr appt today, so i still have some time to come up with something, my dr said i'll have the results tomorrow to confirm what i already know, then again in 48hrs, so after the second one we are going to tell our parents. any ideas would be great!

I told my mom by a game of "telephone"..

For the first pregnancy I really regretted not telling my parents in a unique way..

So this time I told my sister first, and then her oldest daughter (7) asked if we could all play telephone and it was like a light bulb went on! So my hubby started it and said something dumb it got back to me the right way and I leaned over and told my mom, "i'm pregnant"-- My sister and I were both in the line for telephone, so she looked at her and looked at me and then back again and was like-Who?, You? and looked at me.. And she started crying and was overly happy.. It was my dad's B-day and he didn't want to play telephone so later when he came outside I told him he was gonna have to wait another 7 1/2 months for his new special "gift"!!

My Mom lives out of state and her hearing isnt too great so its hard to talk on the phone. I took a short video of my digital PG test . I started scanning it at one end and when I got to the other end I zoomed in on "pregnant" and made the camera jump all over.

We gave them all bibs that say "My grandma loves me" or "My grandpa loves me" and I attached a little note that said "See you on February 24th! Love, Baby XXXXX"

We got them mugs that say "Best Grandma/Grandpa on Earth" (they are HUGE coffee drinkers). When they opened them up, they thought they got the wrong mugs by accident.. took them a second to register what was going on and then went nuts. It was great.

My MIL is in Ireland so we mailed her these 3 photos of Patrick (our son) & a sonogram photo:

sign says "Mom is due on Oct 28th"

"And she's having TWINS"

I put a little sign that said "Here they are"

For my Dad's birthday, we gave him a picture frame that said, "Grandma & Grandpa's Ray of Sunshine" in the frame, we put a piece of paper that said...see you in June!

I was so excited that I didn't think to tell my mom in any special way...I just told her the news!!!!

We told our parents on father's day. We had both families at the house for a BBQ and we gave our father Billy Crystal's book - I already know I love you" and put in their cards we hope they are ready to be called grandpa.

For my mother, I bought a small cake and wrote Congratulations Nona! ( she picked up on it rather fast)
For my dad, I couldn't tell them together because my dad was on vacation for 3 weeks. He has his own company where he fixes tug boats and barges and cruise ships. So I found a t-shirt website that does custom work and on the back I put a cartoon tug boat with the name of company on the back also and on the front for the employees name I put Baby Sxxxxxx.
For my inlaws, I bought another cake but this time I wrote Congrats Baba & Dida (grandma & grandpa in croatian) make room for 1 more!
As far as my grandparents soon to be great grandparents we told over the phone or in person but nothing elaborate
