IUI ?
This week DH and i are going into the city for an IUI class so they can teach us how and when to give the needle ......I was wondering when do I get this needle after my period during and if you have any other info thanks..

You usually start the injections on day 3 of your cycle. It's really easy to do the injections, not a big deal at all.

Thanks.... I was pg and miscarried I'm in my 30's..My Dr. said lets do this (the IUI)s... If this IUI does not work is IVF the next step???

You can do more than 1 IUI, if you want to. A lot of women on the board have had many failed IUIs and feel IVF is the best shot. But if you're insurance company doesn't pay for IVF and IUI is your only option that your insurance company will pay, you might as well give it a few tries before moving to IVF. Many women have gotten pregnant with IUIs (I did, but had a chemical).
IVF is a pretty long road and requires a lot of your time. You have to go to the doctor a lot, but I guess you have to go a lot with the injectables as well. Did you try Clomid first?

Did you doctor give you a reason for not trying Clomid first?
Since I know nothing of your diagnosis, and since I'm not even close to being a doctor, I have no idea if you should have tried Clomid first or not. Was just curious as to why...

I started my injectables day 3 of AF. DH gives them to me and it's really not that bad at all. I'm doing an IVF cycle...we skipped IUI because we have severe MF. Good Luck!
BTW: IVF is not that bad. I thought it would be more time consuming and complicated. I started stimming on Friday and went in to the office Today. I have to go back on Thursday so the monitoring is really not that bad...at least not for me.
