I guess it's a nice way to show your support when needed.

Re: Hallmark's IF line...really
I guess it's not bad, if someone is really down about it, although personally I hate the constant reminder and I don't want anyone to ask me about it unless I'm the one initiating the conversation. I've actually told my friends this, in a kind way, so I don't have to talk to them about it. They asked all the time about what's going on in my cycles, blah blah blah, and I have to think about it so much that when I'm talking to a friend I just want to forget about it.
But this one broke my heart thinking of my son:
I have known you in my dreams, little one, and there you will forever be loved.
Saying good-bye to what might have been, the hopes and dreams that grew more real every day, brings an added sadness to the depth of pain. Wishing you gentle comfort for your sorrow.

Re: Hallmark's IF line...really
I dont like them!!! I would much rather something generic like this one:
Some days it's hard to throw off the covers, to hit the alarm, harder, even, to pick up the toothbrush.
When the world gets heavy, remember, I'm here to help carry it with you.
The words on the cards specifically related to IF are too personal, they should be something the giver writes, they shouldnt be thrown around without meaning because it was printed on the card. KWIM.

I'm not loving them either - they're too wordy - you (hallmark) do the short message, I'll add the wordiness

Re: Hallmark's IF line...really
It's a nice thought but a card like that might throw me over the edge on a bad day. I would much rather prefer something generic...it's a little too personal for my taste.
