WORD! I used to make fun of them too! I didn't get it, but I DO NOW! I HATE taking them off when I get home, and I usually don't for a while  they rock!!

I want a black pair SO badly. I went to UGG at Riverhead yesterday and was SO PO'd! the only sizes they had available in ANYTHING were 9, 10 and 11!   I guess they won't be selling the boots year round

thanks... but I tried on a pair of size 6 childrens UGGs (not the reg kind, they had leather on the foot part) and they were too tight on me. I normally wear a size 9 shoe. The size 8 womens UGGs fits me like a glove.
ETA: holy crap! I just went on the official uggs site and the one's I want are backordered till 9/17/07  I guess they won't be making anymore now that winter is almost over.
IMO that is pretty strange. if people want them, you would think they would sell them.

just a helpful tip - i wanted the black uggs for months - i put myself on the zappos "inform me" list - they sent me an email when they got the black uggs in a 7. they actually must've got a magic shipment because all colors and sizes looked available that morning. i bought my black ones - they overnighted them to me for free - and i am wearing them today! a GF went to zappos a few hrs later to buy herself a pair and all 6's, 7's and 8's were gone in all colors!! so i was so glad i had the upper hand and was told immediately when they were available!
