5 years ago today...
I lost my mom to a long battle with breast cancer. I am so sad today. I miss her so much and cry every time I think of all of the things she's missed over the past 5 years and what she is going to not be here for going forward. I'm pregnant with my first child and wish every day that she could be here with me. I hate cancer. Cancer sucks.

Theresa, I am so sorry. I am sure that your mother would have been so proud of the woman you have become. You are a wonderful wife and you will be an incredible mother. She will be watching from heaven as you raise your little one.

Thank you so much for these kind words Leslie. I am so incredibly sad today. Craig sent me flowers which made me start crying all over again. I think I'll be okay once today is over. I thought this was supposed to get easier as time goes by. Instead, it seems to be getting more difficult.

i lost my mom to breast cancer also. she missed my college graduation, my wedding, and the birth of her two grandchildren. the only thing thats keeps me going is knowing she is looking over us from a much better place.

i'm right there with you -- my mom passed 5 1/2 years ago from breast cancer, too. She's missed a few big milestones already.
