Resume question...
Just curious, do you briefly list on your resume what you actually do?
I used to when I did not have many things to list, but if I did that now, it would be so long.
I think my jobs as PE teacher, fitness center director, personal trainer, & group fitness instructor are all self explanitory.

Re: Resume question...
You shouldn't necessarily write what you do, but what YOU accomplished in that position.
Also, you should probably have 2 different resumes for teaching and for your fitness training.
These are the types of things that will make you stand out beyond your titles and certifications: Did you increase your client base for personal training based upon referrals? Implement any interesting programs in any of the positions? Supervise and/or train how many employees?
If you are having trouble fitting everything you can play with your margins - if you drop down to .8" on all sides, that will give you a little more room. You can also drop your font size to 10. Put your contact information on one line if its not formatted that way already.
If you have specific questions, please let me know.

Re: Resume question...
Exactly! Think of the word resume as what the employer wants to know - What RESults can U get for ME?
The resume is your one page advertisement for yourself as a professional.
