what do your fur babies eat??

Mine is all about real food. I'm having a hard time keeping him only eating good dog food. I'm afraid he's not getting the nutrients he needs. TIA

Unless you are giving him whole grains, veggies and meats in a blanced recipe specifically for dogs, no he is not getting the right nutrition. Dogs' systems are very different from our own and their needs are totally different too.

I feed Scout Nutro Ultra - it's a natural dog food - with 1/3 can of Nutro Ultra canned dog food.

If you mix dry with canned for a while your dog should love it and eventually get used to eating dry or dry mixed with canned food.

Carrots are ok as treats -- and zucchini - chicken - but ONLY small amounts as treats, not as a diet!

Jersey eats hard food only as far as dog food (Nutro). We also feed her some boiled chicken at dinner time quite often, but along with her dry food, not by itself. She also LOVES plain yogurt & peanut butter ( I mix them & freeze it in her "bone" or kong-thanks to karacg) , rice and sometimes on the weekend we give her a scrambled egg made with a little olive oil for her skin & coat. She has dry skin. Once in a while she'll have a piece of cheese as a treat.

Misty gets dry food only (Beneful) and occasionally a piece of meat from our dinner, if she behaves.
It's not healthy to feed them the food we eat unless you cook it especially for the dog and follow nutritional guidelines for a dog diet.

Rudy only gets dry food. And some table scraps (we are bad )

We tried expensive foods and he wont eat it.

He gets pedigree but he did like beneful.

We used to feed Casey Science Diet but she got too fat so we just switched to Nutro Ultra Weight Mgmt..she loves it
