product rave...
Hey all
I just purchased the newborn to toddler rocker by fisher price 2006 and it is great for babies bigger then 10 pounds. I got the papisan chair, but my boys grew out of that and the bouncy seats (they are too heavy for them). The love this and it becomes a rocker when they get bigger...so its something you can use for a long time.
Just wanted to share.

I have to agree with you. This was quite possibly the best purchase I made for Ava! She still uses it to wind down at night and have her last bottle. I definitely suggest it for everyone!

YES I HAVE IT TOO AND MY DD LOVES IT! THANK GOD A FRIEND OF MINE TOLD ME ABOUT IT - HER KIDS STILL USE IT AND THE OLDEST IS 6YRS OLD! DEFINATELY A PERFECT GIFT FOR NEWBORN THAT WILL GET MUCH USE!

My mom has this for my daughter. It lasted alot longer than the traditional bouncy seat. I wish I got this instead of the Graco.

I bought one for my nephew when he was born and he still uses it at almost 5 so I knew I wanted the same for my dd. She also uses it every day.

Honestly i would register for the papisan seat for when they are infant and then put them right into the rocker. The bouncy seats only are good for a few months and i don't find them to be very safe.
My boys also loved the aquarium wonder swing that sits on the floor, but it is bulky and hard to move from place to place.
Also, the rocker folds up for easier storage.

I would NOT get the bouncy seat. Mty MIL has one and I hate it

I definately agree that this is one of the best purchases we made!!! I would recommend you get this instead of the bouncy. Steven was in it a day after he came home and loved it from the start!!!
I also have a bouncer at my moms house and he is starting to do crunches in it. He hardly ever used it for more than 10 minutes, he much prefers the rocking chair.

Is this the rocker?
We got that for Kevin when he outgrew the bouncy seat. It was great until he started getting active and able to push himself forward in the seat. He almost tipped himself over a few times.
We've put it away for now but will bring it back out when he is able to get in and out of a seat by himself.

Ohh! I forgot I have this still in the box- I have been using the bouncy seat but she really doesn't like it. I will have to put this together!

Nope that is their older one which i still use for one of the boys. They came out with a newer one.

Nate hated the regular bouncy when he was a newborn, so I returned it. My MIL got the FP rocker for her house when he was 6 months. At almost 21 months, he still uses it when he's over there.
I will probably get one for home, so Nate and the baby can use it.
