who else is barfing ALL DAY LONG???

i wasn't gonna post this, cause i'm sure you've heard it all already... but i'm suffering over here - the morning sickness just won't quit. i'm up to 24/7 nausea, with a few hours of vomiting every day - usually in the middle of the night, it wakes me from sleep.

have been taking b-6 and unison but it hasn't helped even a little. FORGET the sea bands.

i am picking up a prescription for zofran tomorrow.

i am down 7 pounds and my medical residency program director wants me to take a month of "independent study"... because no one wants a doctor who is sick herself

i know the month of taking it easy will be good for me, but i'm still really down about having to put my entire life on hold... i'm also really hormonal...

I can't imagine having your schedule period, pregnancy or no pregnancy, it must be rough

Are you dehydrated in addition to the losing weight?? I was about 8 weeks when I had to be put on Zofran because of the same issues. Call your doctor and see if you can go in, to be dehydrated is really not good (the weight loss isn't fabulous, but can be made up later on)

I lost 13lbs in the first 13 weeks and I am sorry to tell you, even with the Zofran, I still throw up. Hopefully yours will go away tho

Call the doctor adn try to eat a little at a time and drink whatever you can keep down, ginger ale, gatorade, even soda b/c sometimes water is tough.

I'm so sorry I am right there with you only a little less vomiting....It's misery....You're right, Seabands don't help....My DH gave me vitamin water last night because I am dehydrating fast, and I think it actually helped a little bit. Hang in there! I'm here if you want to vent!

What about Pedialite freezer pops... I also used to eat popsicle s when i waqs at my worse to keep myself hydraded.. good luck...

That sounds like what I went thru - I couldnt even keep water down and I lost 13 pounds... have you looked into your dr. prescribing you zofran? It was a lifesaver for me

I am so sorry! I hope it ends soon for you. I am almost 6 weeks and am just dreading it. I hope it never comes.

I feel your pain.
I thought I had MS with my son, but it was absolutely nothing compared to this. I dont really know how much the Zofran is helping, I'm not actually vomitting as often, but its not getting rid of the nausea. I wound up dehydrated in the hospital and after 3 nurses tried 8 times to get an IV started, they called an anesthesiologist to get me hooked up. My point is -- dont wait until your that dehydrated before going to the doctor.

i'm so sorry Alexlynn i hope the zofran helps. i know it isn't any consolation but i was wishing i had some m/s so that i'd feel pg!! everyone keeps asking me if i have it so i keep thinking somethings wrong because i don't! drink fluids if you can.
