Where did everyone get their furniture for the nursery,
we went to Behr and Bellini. I knew it would be expensive in those stores but not as much as it was. We do want the furniture to last hopefully until they are 10 and we do want a convertable crib that turns into the full size bed. So what is everyone's thinking and if you dont mind telling me the average you guys spent? Thanks

We got our dresser and changing table at Babies R Us for $750. I got my crib from Baby Depot for $400...

Newsday....I bought a full set of used Bellini furniture that I couldn't find one mark or scratch on - it was in pristine condition - I spent 1000$ for a crib, changing table, dresser, nightstand, skinny tall chest, short dresser and corner shelf. I was able to furnish two rooms with all of that!

crib. 7 drawer/changing table and 4 drawer dresser. the changing table top comes off to use as a regular dresser. $1700 stanley is the brand. antique white. crib is sleigh style and the store we bought from is buy buy baby. the 7 drawer dresser we chose no mirror as the room is rather small. Corine--I absolutely LOVE the set you got. I have all Stanley in my house. It will last forever. Is that the cottage revival collection. Where did you get such a good price?

Babys R Us. Initially we wanted to go with Behrs, but like you said they can be on the expensive side and just not in our budget now.

We got ours from JCPenney. The convertible crib was about $350 and the changing table w/drawers was $299.

JCPenney's. We bought a hutch/changing table, crib with draw and armoire along with all bedding, border, valance, mobile, room decor for just about 1500 dollars.

We both really like white furniture but do you think it can more feminine than masculine. For a baby boy we think its fine but when he starts to get older do you think it would be ok? Because then we could get the crib my husband wants and the funiture I want

We got our furniture in Behr's. We did spend a nice amount on furniture, but figured we would save in the long run because it is furniture they will use for years and years.

the furniture comes in different colors if you go to the stanley website the childrens and infant line is called young america. THey have some stanley on display at Buy Buy Baby. I got 3- 20% off coupons from Buy Buy Baby and ended up saving over $400 on my 3 pieces. I know there are some 20% coupons on ebay. I had to get another one for the matress but it helped save $$. fm if you need info.
