Key West Or Las Vegas
My DH and I are trying to plan a vacation. We don't have time to get passports so we are limited on where to go.
So key west or vegas? Any input, suggestions, would be great. TIA

I have been to neither, but I would choose Key West, b/c I like beachy holidays and the excess of Vegas doesnt appeal to me.

I've been to Key West as a stop on a cruise. It is absolutely beautiful! So much more "real" than Vegas. I am not a fan of Vegas though..so maybe I am biased. I would vote Key West

It would depend how long I was going away for.
For a long weekend, I would go to Key West. The time zone difference can be a little rough for a short trip.
For 4 nights or more, I would go to Vegas. There's so much more to do there.

Hummm depends. when are you going??
B.c if you want to lay out and such you can't go to vegas now b.c its to cold.
But if you go in the warm season I say Vegas b.c you can do soooo much there!!!
I have been to Key west too and its lots of fun!! Get a moped for the time you are there.. its a blast

they really have almost 2 different atmospheres, so i think it depends on what you're looking for... the keys are more of a lay on the beach in the sun type place, whereas vegas is more "go-go-go"... so it really depends on what type of trip you're looking for. i'm biased though because i'm a beachy girl, and i LOVE the keys!

I agree with what many others posted. I have been to both and they are 2 very different, but awesome places to go. If it is a weekend thing and you are looking for more relaxation I'd say Key West. If you have more time and are looking for more excitement and on the go kind of stuff I'd say Vegas. You'll have a great time no matter what you choose though.

TOTALLY agree.
I went there for a cruise stop as well. I didn't want to leave! it totally feels like you are on a tropical island without the hassle of leaving the country!

you dont want to be there longer than 3-4 days anyway.
i love vegas. i vote vegas.

LOVED Key West, way more than Vegas, but also DH and I are not into gambling.
*Just a side note on Key West, I don't remember the hotel we stayed in, it was a small one, but the beach wasn't exactly as big and nice as I would have liked. Not sure if that is important to you but it was for me....
