DH going to Dr. appt question..

Ok- this is probably a really silly or dumb question, but my DH wants to go to my GYN with me to discuss fertility and why we haven't gotten pg. yet. I am due for my annual physical. Should he come with me to that one or do I make a seperate appt. to discuss our questions with the Dr. If he comes with me to my annual appt., does he come into the room with me (which will be a bit wierd having my DH with me while another man checks out my "parts" ).

What did you do or what would you do?

Well you def need your annual exam...he probably doesnt need to be in the room for that

Call your dr. ahead of time and see if its OK is he comes with you and make sure your Dr. has time to sit an talk with you about things after your exam. I'd say more than likely they will give you another appointment for that.

Dont forget, most drs wont start testing until you have been TTC for 1+ years...so you're gonna have to fib a little.

yeah- I would have nightmares of DH being in the room with me during the exam . I dont' think I could handle it. I'm uncomfortable as it is.

I plan on fibbing! the only thing is that I talked to my Dr. back in Oct. about TTC when I went off the pill. I hope he doenst remember or that Oct. will be fine.
