Birth announcements
Ladies, what did you do as far as birth announcements for the twins?
Companies? Websites? Individual vendors?
I want to do one w/ a picture of the two of them but there seems like there is such a limited selection.
I'd rather get ideas now or they'll be 18 by the time I send them out
TIA

Re: Birth announcements
Laura recommended this website to me and we used them.
They came out great. Just went to find the link and our annoucement is on there
picture it cards
The proof was done within 24 hours and we got the cards only a few days later. They are $.75 a card.

Re: Birth announcements
I think you are smart to pick them out now. I did the same and had my husband order them while I was in the hospital so they were ready to go when I got home.

Re: Birth announcements
I made mine and had a picture of them together and their birth information beneath the picture of the appropriate baby. I like Tiny Prints

Re: Birth announcements
I did mine on Shutterfly. They have some twins ones to pick from. They came out great.
FYI - I used Winkflash first and they came out horrible, but i got a full refund.

Re: Birth announcements
I made mine and had them printed through Shutterfly as a 4x6 photo...it only cost 12 cents each that way!

Re: Birth announcements
Stacey - I love those!!!
I made mine myself also. I cut all the paper before they were born and did as much as I could before so that after it was a cinch to finish them up. I would also do crafts while I was pumping, it was my relaxing time. LOL

Re: Birth announcements
Not for twins, but we used Naptime Productions both times and they were great to work with.
Sonicstef (a vendor on here) does beautiful work, her website has a lot of samples.
Do you have a friend who is good with photoshop? Maybe you could hire them to do it for you.

Re: Birth announcements
Stacey, that is beautiful. I have no experience with photoshop and I know I won't have any time to learn.
I think I'll just use one of the other sites that has a template. I have friends who probably could do it but I'd want them asap.
Thanks ladies for all of the ideas.

We combined ours with our Christmas cards - from Picture It Cards like pinky said.

Re: Birth announcements
Take your own pics and then go to kodak Easyshare or one of the other sites like snapfish..create your own birth annoucement..it's very easy to do. I made my own thank you card with their picture and it came out adorable. Those sites have a whole gallery of cards and announcements to choose from.
