Sorry...TMI
What else can I take besides Colace? I went to the store to get it (rec. by my Dr.) and it was $26!!! I figured I'd give the Total Raisin Bran one more shot before paying that much

There definitley should be a store brand. I know Walgreens has their brand where you get 100 capsules for about $9.99.

colace was $26?? that's insane. Get ducosate sodium 100 mg capsules, same thing as colace, just the generic brand and they work just as well. Just make sure it's plain ducosate sodium with no other ingredients, some times they add a laxative or something. I can't believe it's that expensive!

prunes, metamucil, kashi cereal or if you can find it uncle sams cereal.
