Very scared need support
OK My Biggest fear in life is Doctors, I do not know why but i really do not go to them, I am terrified they are going to tell me something bad and i am the rrather not know type. I am terrified to go for my internal sonogram becauuse i am afraid they are going to tell me I have cancer or something, I go into paic attacks thinking about this and feel so stupid, but it is just a fear I have had my whole life. i know I have to go for my baby and that is the only thing really making me go.

I am so sorry to hear about your fears. I don't have your level of fears, but I am always scared that someone will tell me I have cancer. I got tested for disability insurance and I was so scared they would find something wrong with me. Guess what- they didn't. Even with getting pregnant, I was so scared I would have a hard time conceiving- and I got pregnant on the 1st try!! I just learned that most of the things we worry about don't really happen. And when they do- we deal with them. I have had medical problems before, but they always get taken care of- and here I am, healthy, strong and pregnant.
You HAVE to go to the doctor, but try not to worry so much. Worrying is one of the worst things you can do for your baby. Try to understand why you have these fears, and maybe then you can deal with them. If they are really bad, then maybe you should talk to someone about them. But don't worry. Chances are you are 100% healthy!!

Actually during the vaginal sonogram, they do not detect anything like cancer. All they will do is tell you how far along your baby is measuring and if they see a heartbeat :) Soon you will actually look forward to those sonos. I am not a big fan of doctors as well. However, your body helped you conceive your beautiful miracle :)

OMG--I am the same way. Every little ache and pain I think I have same fatal disease. I was soooo nervous when I first went to the doctor. But guess what, everything was fine and it will be for you too!

I feel EXACTLY the same way!!! I always think I have something deadly. I'm actually having an issue now, and all I can think of is that it's something really bad that will cause me not be able to get PG again. I always think the worst unfortunately, but that's the way I've always been. I wish I thought differently, but I don't! Everything will be fine!
