I waited a while but that was back in September when they switched over to a new computerized system. I think that was slowing them down overall.
They should be up and running with their new system by now, but I always waited for my other gyno so it doesn't make a difference. I dumped my gyno of 20 years for her. So worth it.
I don't know if she's taking new patients but she is young and I tend to think she will continue to accept new patients.

suffolk obgyn... they have offices in wading river, pt jeff, patchogue, and maybe somewhere else... Dr Sterlacci, is great and Karen, one of the nurse practioners is fabulous!

they are all very friendly & good in that office...
ive been there 3 times in the last month... each time 1 hr wait for the nurse

dr gus san roman in port jeff station. worked for him for 5 years; my mom worked with him in the DR for way longer than that - love him to death. his nurse practioners, michele and loriellen are awesome as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Davenport/Kaelber, Schoenfeld & Droesch from 3 Village Women's Health. I had several miscarriages in between my daughter (5 years old), and the son I just had (3 months old). I changed doctors several times for various reasons and was not pleased at all with the last 2 doctors I had visited. A customer of mine who also had several miscarriages recommended this practice, and I was soo happy I actually looked forward to my visits while I was pregnant. They just delivered my son in December, and it was a great experience!!!

Dr. Davidson- Lake Success. He is soo kind and patient. If you have a simple question you can email him and he answers. The wait time is most times non-existant. You wait if you are late. If it happens to be busy you wait about 15-30mins.

Mesbah in Garden City---I highly recommend and know plenty of other women who would also recommend. I had complications with my pregnancy and he was great.

I highly recommend Dr. Droesch (in Setauket). He's great! Outgoing and funny...and any procedure that I've had done has been very "tolerable". I've had several Paps, and 2 colpo's. I never left his office uncomfortable or in pain.
I don't know the other doctors personally, but I've only heard good things. Even the NNP, Karen, is great!

I use Dr Singer, she is in the Huntington Medical Group.
I hated my last dr, but she was so great throughout my pregnancy, I actually became attached to everyone in the office b/c I was there so much during the pregnancy
