Suggestions needed

Hi ,
Thanks ladies for the all the support in the short time I've been here. After reading some of the replys on Clomid I'm concerned I've been on it too long (from Aug to Nov under my gyns care then from Jan to present with fertiility dr) Last month out of nowhere no ovulation (Dr. confused by this). How long after I have taken the progesterone they gave me for 5 days can I expect to get my period? Should I take the increased dosage (100) of clomid this month to see if I'm back to ovulatiing or go for the laporoscopy (Dr. mentioned this) to see what's going on?

My RE told me not to do clomid more than 6 months. That if I don't see results within that time than clomid probably isn't the thing for me.
I would get the lap done and then sit and talk to my doc about what is the next best move.

I agree with Deb. Get the lap done and see if there is any other testing your Dr. recommends. Then talk to your Dr. about injectables as opposed to Clomid on your next IUI. Clomid can thin out your lining and cause cysts so you definitely don't want to be on it for more than six months at a time.

I would go see an RE before doing the lap. They maye have other answers. they may not, but at least you will be in the right hands.

what dosage were you on when taking Clomid?

50mg Now moving me up to 100mg
