So, my dh doesnt want to go to Alaska Sept. 2008.

But, we definately want to cruise, any ideas. I would like to take carnival and he doesnt really want to fly for more than 3 hrs if possible, also we did bermuda and the bahamas.

Any other suggestions please.

if you're looking at a particular month and for a particular cruise line, you're choices may be limited as is. i would do a search and see what's available. i think a cruise anywhere is great!

eta- i did a quick search on expedia. sept 08 wasn't a choice yet, but i looked at sept 07 just as a guide... cruises usually sail to the same places at the same time of year. there was a lot to choose from... there was one that hit barbados, st lucia and antigua - that'd be my choice; i've always wanted to go to all 3 islands. there was one to jamaica and cayman islands also - we did that exact cruise on royal carribean and absoloutely loved it.

I went on a cruise to Alaska back in 2000 (Royal Caribbean) and Alaska is just beautiful -- pictures do not do it justice. I believe all of the Alaska cruises leave from Vancouver or Seattle so the flight would be over 3 hours.

That was the only cruise I've ever been on though, DH and I are just not into cruises but we do think a cruise was the best way to see Alaska for us.

How about one of the cruises that leave from NY? Just an FYI -- September/October is hurricane season for most of the Caribbean. The Dutch Carribbean like Aruba is an option though.

ETA: I just relized that your post said that your husband "doesn't" want to go to Alaska, I though it said "does".

I didn't read the responses so I apologize if this is a duplicate but how do you feel about the Panama Canal?
