Do you think this is cheesy??
My mom's Birthday is Easter Sunday, and wanted to take the drive and visit her grave.
She LOVED black jelly beans, so I wanted to buy a bag and spread them all over her tombstone.

I bring my mom Necco's all the time. They were her favorite candy.
Nothing cheesy about it. I spend a good amount of time at the cemetery. You would be suprised at some of the rituals people have.
The section across from my mom is all Sept 11th graves. You should see some of the stuff that is left there.

That is not cheesy at all. Everyone leaves different things at the graves at the cemetary where my mom is. The man next to my mom has a muffin, chocolate, etc. During Chanhanuk (sp?) since my mom was jewish (my Dad is Italian) I lefted 4 dredials (sp?) for her.

that's not cheesy. i think it's nice.
My mom LIVED at the gym. Her license plate even said "IWORKOUT." So we did something she'd love and I'm thrilled about it -- first off, she's buried in a sports bra and gym pants rather than a suit because that's just who she was. And, part of her stone says "IWORKOUT." That's just my mom.
If your mom was all about black jelly beans, then do something with black jelly beans!

that so cute- we buried my Mom in her new nike's that she just had made- b/c she too was a work out nut
just goes to show- you can be the healthiest person- and still get cancer!

I think people should be buried in things that were them.
My brother did wear a suit and tie alot but he was happiest on vacation wearing his Tommy Bahama shirts, Khaki's and his boat shoes so that is what he was buried in.

I think that sounds like an awesome idea. I hung happy birthday streamers up for my mom's birthday. I didn't care if it was cheesy or not. It made me feel better.
