Have you ever snuck into their room when they are sleeping and feel your heart actually ache because at that exact moment...you don't think it is possible to love them anymore? I just had one of those moments... we are all so blessed

I feel that every night. I check on them right before I go to bed and I just melt.

I'm sure next week, I'll be thinking the exact same thing. I keep wondering how am I going to sleep... I'll be wide awake all night staring at them in complete awe
Now I finally understand the story when my Dad said my mom couldn't sleep for the first two nights she had me home.

I get all vah-klempt when I look a their tiny clothes and the diapers... the books in their room. I can't get passed page one of "Guess How Much I love you?" w/o bawling.

I had one of these last night. I put them both down to sleep and was in the room next to them and i heard one of them cooing to himself. So i go in about 3 minutes later and one is sleeping but Jack was pushed up on his belly trying to eat the wood pole, so i slowly bent my head down to look at him and he finally saw me and let out this huge giggle. It cracked me up...i had to run and get DH who then proceeded to spend a few minute in there with him because is was such a special moment.

Every night right before i go to bed i go in there and just look at them in the two cribs and still stare in amazment that we created two of them!!

i love when they crack a quick smile when they are sleeping. sometimes during the night i will take a peek on the video monitor.

They make my heart melt everytime I look at them. Temper tantrums and all.

I think i have that everyday. As I watch them right now, talking to each other and rolling into each other. I love them more each day.

I'm hijacking...

I visited Jeanine yesterday (lastchance) and was so mesmerised by her little boys. I just sat by the swings staring at them.

I told her - these babies aren't even MINE and I can't stop staring at them - what am I going to be like when I have my baby?

she says she just stares at them all day too....

I LOVE staring at them while they sleep - or anytime for that matter. They are constantly melting my heart.
