Yes but does she have a slip & slide? Sometimes you can have everything but the crappy piece of plastic you slide on is the most fun.
Is she into clothes? Princesses?
Is she a girly girl? tom boy?

That sounds good. Are they dangerous though?
She is not really into clothes, she is a tough little girl. She just started likeing dinosaurs. Not too much into princesses but likes Ariel. T hink she is already getting some Ariel stuff.

how bout ponyville or pony crystal castle with some my little ponies? or a doll house.. or... how bout a doll set with a stroller, changing table ect..all the accesories!!

Those are all cute...she has a 4 year old older sister so they have all that stuff already.
I will look for a pony crystal castle, that sounds cute.
Any other ideas?
I am liking the slip and slide.

I am liking the slip and slide.
The reason I picked it is kids who have everything also often have parents that forget their own childhood when they didn't have money & still had fun.
I bought my friend's daughter all of the dvds we watched as kids. My friend may have a pottery barn playset for her kids, but she's forgotten how much she loved Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Pippi Longstocking & Mary Poppins.
Your niece sounds like a Pippi Longstocking type of girl.

I agree that we often forget some of the simplest things. They frequently have "traction" and are played with for a long time.
At that age my kids loved arts and crafts type things. Crayola color wonder type stuff is great and at two they can just start to use this. I did this for a friend's 2 year old who had all the current and expensive stuff. I spent about $75.00 (this friend has been super generous to my girls) and filled a huge birthday bag with color wonder stuff, books and large block sets. My friend still thanks me for this gift, she says that without color wonder she couldn't bring her daughter to a restaurant.

I just bought a 3 year old a bunch of fun stuff for the bath- a fishing pole, paints that they can "paint" in the bath that are really soap, etc.

Bath crayons (there is an exellent one at Alex Toys, I believe), wondercolor things, craft things, coloring books, regular books.

I agree, sometimes the most simple toys are the most fun/.
with summer coming ANYTHING water/outdoorsy will be a hit, even if not right now when you give it to her, within a couple of months!
