If you have sailed out of NY to Tortola, etc...
Did you find the trip to be really long there and back to NY?
I am getting worried because my cousin just came back and said the almsot 3 days on the ship was brutal.
TIA

Re: If you have sailed out of NY to Tortola, etc...
Just got back from the Holland America cruise out of NY and out first stop was Tortola at 3pm on day 3. I LOVED the days at sea. Now we had very calm seas so I can see if it's rough bow you might not like it so much. But on those days we were able to sleep late, explore the ship, do some of the activities that we would have missed if we were at port, and mostly hang out by the pool with a book!! There is really so much to do on the ship, that you don't feel like you are stuck on a boat- you are at a floating resort!! By the time we got to Tortola I was definately ready to see land, but would not say I thought it was brutal. HTH

we sailed to St. Thomas, Tortola, and Bermuda out of NYC. Going down to St. Thomas I think there were 2 days at sea. The weather was great so we sat out by the pool, walked around the ship, got tan and drank pina coladas! On the way back from Bermuda, the weather was rainy so we were stuck inside, but it wasn't bad. We walked around, checked out some of the ship that we hadn't checked out earlier on the trip and just lounged around. You'll have a great time!
