anyone else have this? UPDATED

i am 5 wks 3 days pg, earlier i went to the bathroom and i was bleeding, not too much, but not just spotting either. i called the dr and they said to relax and i can stay home unless i am bleeding really badly, i have an appt on tuesday for our first sono, but the dr said to call in the am (if i don't wind up in the er) and to go in tomorrow so they can draw blood and see what's going on. they said it could be nothing or it could be the beginning of a miscarriage. i am not crampy or anything so i guess i just have to monitor it until the am, the bleeding stopped btw, but i'm so nervous. i know it could be a miscarriage, but i'm praying so hard it isn't.

so i went to the dr today and they did our first sono, dr said everything is looking fine and not to worry, he said sometimes bleeding in the beginning is normal, he sees no signs of anything wrong. we go back next week for another sono and to hear the heartbeat. thanks for all your support, keep us in your prayers! thanks!

it'w tough not knowing what's going on. I can tell you that before I found out I was miscarrying, I was spotting for a week or 2 AND then on a Sunday night the cramps started. It was that Mon that they saw no fetus or heartbeat and that afternoon I started miscarrying.

In my first PG I bleed bright red blood a LOT and it turned out it was just cervical soreness and a slight infection which made the cervix blled, it was NOT coming from inside the uterus...So it could be nothing at all...

With my 2nd which I had a M/C i spotted brown for about a day and started crammping and heavy bleeding within about 24 hours.

I think you should just try your best not to worry, bleeding does not always mean miscarriage and wait to see what the DR says..

i had light spotting in the beginning and was told i had a cyst on my ovaries which is common in pregnancy. the spotting went away the next day and they had me go for a follow up sono a month later to see if the cyst shrunk which it did.

I'm about 5 or 6 weeks along and had spotting last week too. I also had it with my first pregnancy and everything turned out fine. Its just old blood ridding it self while the egg implants and grows. My doc told me the only concern would be if it were bright red (it was not, it was brown).
