Stockings at a wedding
Do you always wear them? We have a wedding next weekend, I'm wearing a T lenghth dress and don't really want to wear stockings - is that tacky or am I just sounding like my mother?

My general rule is :
open-toed=never stockings
closed -toed= always stockings
Next week might still be a litle cold for no stockings & open toed, but not tacky.
Tea length covres most of your legs though.

just was in a wedding last night i didnt wear stockings and i also had open toe shoes...i say no stockings and have a blast at the wedding

i went to a wedding in february, wore a calf-length dress, open-back shoes (mules) and no stockings. i don't do stockings

I agree with all ladies, no stockings is fine. I wish I could wear stockings to a wedding this weekend. It's a casual, beach wedding in GA in the evening, and it could be a little cool, plus my legs are not even white, they're PASTY!! I would love to be able to wear stockings with my sandals
