Ladies, I need help...

Water used to be my favorite drink but now it grosses me out....the nausea is making me not wanting to drink anything... I know I have to so I dont get dehydrated but can you give me any suggestions !??!?!!??

I am not a soda drinker I would have an occasional root beer with pizza but
I find soda too sweet...even when I add seltzer
I tried juices but too acidic...
I vomited drinking chamomile tea ( sorry to be gross) so that doesnt work.

I tried yoo hoo but dont want to drink it everyday....

I am lactose intolerant so I cant drink milk
unless it's lactaid but that doesnt appeal to me either..

Please give me suggestions !??!?!?!?!?

Thanks.

Re: Ladies, I need help...

I had the same expierence during my first trimester! I lived on water until it made me vomit..... I found that I couldn't really drink any liquid, but forced myself to. I was able to drink gatoraide, vitaminwater (grape flavor) and flat coke with some good results. I did go to the Dr. to check my hydration and I was fine. I also ate tons of watermelon and other fruit.

In my 2nd trimester (now) I can't drink any liquids after I finished dinner and throughout the night until after I eat breakfast and shower. I am thirsty at night but it's better than being naseaus and throwing up. I drink tons of water throughout the rest of the day.

I am staying away from caffeine- so iced tea (which I loved) is mostly out. What about seltzer and juice or the flavored seltzer. I also am drinking a lot of apple juice- I find it not too acidic. I have recently started making myself a lot of smoothies- frozen fruit and milk (you could use lactaid). Also- I don't know if you have a juicer but watermelon juice is so tasty, and has lots of water and is not very acidic.

Is it ok to get the watermelon that is already cut at the supermarket ? Do you think it is safe from bacteria ?

Re: Ladies, I need help...

I was told anything that had water in it, including watermelon, honeydew, lettuce, cucumbers, ice pops.

Have you tried lemons in a pitcher of water?

I also like gatorade or propel fitness water.

Re: Ladies, I need help...

I have been drinking a lot of gatorade. Also, I buy all natural fruit juice (no sugar added) and add do 3/4 water and 1/4 juice and I love it. I used to love to drink water, but now that I am pg not so much. Also, fruit juice is so sweet that combining them is perfect!
