Re: WAH-1-800-Flowers

i was supposed to do this but my computer wouldnt support their system! if you have the lasest version of internet explorer you'll be SOL! i searched and there was no way to revert back to the old version. the only way was to bring my laptop to a specialist and they would do it for me...sorry, I wasnt about to spend $ to make $10/hr!

If you passed the assesment, it would tell you that they want to do a phone interview with you and take you to a screen to set it up/schedule it.

What happened at the end of the assesment? You did the long one with the practice training and everything?

Maybe I didn't pass? There was no skills assessment, just a bunch of personality kind of questions. Maybe I shouldn't have done it at 3am. I logged back in to see if maybe I skipped something and it just had a message that said ""Thank you for taking the asessment.Good luck in the selection process"

well customer service....telemarketing might not require skills Chat Icon

After the personality test, I was taken on a "fake training"session where I listened to calls and had to learn the "fake system" and navigate through it etc...for about 1/2 hour...then it scheduled me for an interview.

Sorry, I really dont know what happened.

Re: WAH-1-800-Flowers

I was offered the job last night- however turned it down...

It is 6-8hrs/ week @ $7/hour

during peek times (christmas, Valentines, Mothersday, and Thanksgiving) its 30-40hrs/ week which includes an 8-10hr day on the holiday itself... You will be required to work EVERY holiday....

Other than that- it sounded like a great thing!

Its actually $10 an hour the first 90 days and then its $7 an hour with $3-$4 an hour in incentive pay available...and the incentives are just attendance, and being on time for shifts etc ( no selling etc. )

I know about 3 people who do this and they all make the $3-$4 extra an hour each week...

So $11 an hour at home it really good.
Most WAH jobs start you at about $8 an hour and your not an acual employee.

1-800-flowers also offers 401 K and benfits even for P/T.

You are scheduled 6-10 hours a week during non peak times , but there is a constant " up for grabs" shifts other people do not want.

My one friend said she averages 25-30 hours a week.

The stinky part is the Peak times...but keep in mind you can put your shift up for grabs and people do take them, even on holidays like Christmas.

I havent started yet, so I hope all the good does truly outweigh the bad in the end.

I have heard they are a horrible company at scheduling and organization with their at home people...so that is yet to be seen.
