Anyone have long or irregular cycles after having a baby?
DS is 1 year old and AF is still not regular. I got AF in Sept (at 6 months pp), Nov, Jan, Feb, and now I'm still waiting. I stopped nursing in the beginning of Nov. so I thought it would have gotten back to normal by now.

I got mine back three months after she was born. I got it back for two months, this month...nothing! I am very curious to see what others say.

i was always 26 days like clockwork. i gave birthon 9/16 got my first af on 11/14 and the next one was righton time 26 days since then its been 22 days 24 days and 21 days

When I gave birth to my first, my cycles were irregular after I stopped BFing. I waited about 6 months and still irregular. I went to my ob/gyn and she suggested going on the pill to regulate and since I was not going have kids for a bit I went for it.
Now with my 2nd son, my cycles are normal.
Maybe you should go see your doctor.

I was actually the opposite - had very irregular, very heavy cycles before DS was born. Since he was born (he's almost two) they have been very regular, very light and over in 2-3 days. I think being PG just affects women's bodies differently.

i think i'm going to go. i have to go for my annual visit soon anyway. i really wouldn't mind getting AF only every 2 months except that we want to TTC #2.

The amount of time passing between each period has been getting shorter and shorter for me. It's getting annoying.

My DD is going to be one year old in April and I am still nursing so I have not had a AF for 21 months. OBGYN said that after i stop nursing I should wait 2 months and if no AF then go see them

Mine are, but they were long and irregular before having the baby too.
How long is long? If under 45 days you can still use the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor and pinpoint your ovulation even if you are irregular.
