I have a rehearsal dinner tonight to attend and mom asks what I'm wearing - black groucho pants, boots, and a brown top, her reply "Brown and Black, really?" "yes, why" "Its so drab, can't you add more color?"

Im sorry to say but black and brown does not go... I mean to each its own but thats a big fashion nono in my book...

brown is not automatically drab. I have some very rich chocolate browns that are very heavy burgundy-based. They are quite warm - not at all drab.
