Betta Stress
So DH and I needed to buy food for Bleu our betta fish.
I am reading the package and it says :
"Reduces stress..."
I am thinking what kind of effing stress could a betta fish possibly have other than the occasional water change? This thing has been living in a bowl for over a year and half with nothing more than a move from the living room to the extra bedroom. Poor dear! Image Attachment(s):

Though I do have to say, even though I get mesmerized watching the fish in DH's 180 gallon tank, I imagine that it is terribly BORING to do that all day, every day. Maybe that is the stress?

Look at the size of his bowl. That has been his home. Occasionally, I talk to him calling him "Bleu Bird". I don't think he likes me very much. I named him after my favorite cheese and my favorite character from "Old School."

I dunno. I think he is simply angry that my mother just killed his cousins "Whitefish" and "Pike" to make gefilte fish for Passover. Maybe he needs a support group. Maybe he should go find Nemo and call it a day!
