THrough someone at work - she was really anal about her dogs so I went with the same breeder for my baby.

definitely through the breed's club. They are concerned with the integrity of the breed and the safe conditions the pups are kept in.

My DH works with a trainer who judges hunting dog trials and he put us in contact with another trainer who also breeds.
