Repost from parenting...EDD

I guess Im just at that I want this to be over soon stage...So Im looking to reassure myself.. my little prince will be here sooner than later..

Did anyone notice any correlation to what your baby measured in sonograms to when you gave birth?

For instance... Since my 1st sono..Ive always measured 1 week and a couple days before my due date.. the DR never changed my due date cuz of it...because it dosent necessarily mean anything... but the date I told them was my last period (I totally picked outta a hat...I have no idea...and thats how they set my EDD)

Basically- Im just hoping that this means my baby is coming a week earlier than expected..lol

Anyone else..measure further along during the pregnancy...and how did it relate to your EDD..and when you actually gave birth..

Does my rambling make sense..lol???

My son always measured at 2 weeks bigger than he was suppose to be. He was born 5 days before his EDD.

I knew the exact date that I had gotten my last period though.

When I had Andrew, I wasn't getting a period, so they could not use that to date the pregnancy. they always used what I measured on the sonos. That put me with a due date of May 26th, but he was born May 9th, a few weeks early. So I often wonder how acurate the dating was.

I knew the exact date of my last period...my due date is 10/22 and she is measuring 10/10...
